Support for physicians
We know that physicians face a tremendous challenge in trying to assist their patients when an attention disorder is suspected. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations regarding evaluation for attention disorders cannot practically be delivered by a busy pediatric office. But we use their protocol, in conjunction with recommendations from top researchers in the field and other testing, to develop a careful diagnosis and report, which we furnish to the patient's physician.
Then too, many families are overwhelmed by attention problems and find it difficult to monitor medication efficacy and side effects. We help them log these, so that they can present you with a written history of dosing and results, so that you can adjust medication regimen more easily.
We find surprisingly often that patients and their parents don't understand much about the disorders or about your treatment recommendations. We are readily available to provide education about attention disorders, their cause, and treatment.
